And we are walking down a new path again here at the “C”.  Always trying to keep things fresh and exciting we are adding a few more yoga classes for you.  Starting in June we will be offering yoga on Monday nights at 5:30pm, Tuesday and Thursday yoga and/or yogi breakfast at 9am and we will be continuing with the Night Cap yoga every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month.  

 

What is happening this week you ask…

Farmers Markets abound here in South Carolina.  Join us at any of the markets listed below and shop from your friends and neighbor.  Enjoy the free range chicken eggs, antibiotic and hormone free chicken, pork, and beef; find some local produce or seafood.  Shop with local artisans as well. Oh, and of course you will always find the freshest roasted coffee by the cup or the pound, fresh cold pressed Ice Coffee, hand crafted sodas, and house made Kombucha tea at our booth at either of these locations.  Just follow that fabulous smell. 

Tuesday-Mount Pleasant Farmers Market 3:30pm-7pm Coleman Blvd. 

Thursday-Moncks Corner Farmers Market 3pm-7pm Regional Recreation Complex 418 East Main St. 

Saturday-Summerville Farmers Market 8am-1pm First Citizens Bank Parking lot

6/1-Wednesday Night Cap Yoga 6:30pm-9pm Nightcap Yoga is an All Levels Class. Bring a yoga mat if you have one. $10 for the yoga class or $15 for the yoga class and a beverage. Come experience a unique form of yoga with a fusion.

6/2-Thursday Tasty Yoga 9am featuring Elizabeth Williams formerly from the Yoga Loft.  $10 for yoga and $15 if you would like yoga and breakfast.  Breakfast will consist of oatmeal, yogurt, fruit, and nuts.  Check out our event on Facebook as more information about your yoga classes will be coming in.  

Open Mic Night hosted byFleming Moore 7pm-9:30pm   Come on out and experience something new and exciting every week.  Talented musicians from all over the area come and share their gifts and flair with you the audience. You never know who will show up.

6/3-Friday Aged to Perfection 7pm-9pm, Aged 2 Perfection is a local band from Summerville, SC. Like most bands it came together as a group of musicians that just liked to get together and play music. The band consists of three members,  Jim Hare, lead guitarist and vocals, Harold Albo, lead vocals and rhythm guitar, and Robert Winston, bass and vocals. They met originally as members at Bethany United Methodist Church in Summerville not quite 20 years ago. They initially started out playing together during Summerville’s Flowertown Festival. They continue to play there on Saturday mornings in the Bethany UMC Oasis area. They have sincealso gone on to play at other locations like The Ivory Moon, Miler Country Club,  and at DREAM”S Third Thursday event on Hutchinson Square.  The band plays a wide eclectic variety of classic and contemporary rock music.  

6/4 Saturday Susie Summers Duo 7pm-10pmSusie and her husband Al are a magical duo that entertains the crowd with their music and stories.  They play mostly their original music which is always preempted by a story of how it came to be.  Come enjoy the raw emotion of her songs and the power of their voices.
