1/21-Thursday Book signing with Nickie Dew Cooper author of Footprints Nickie Dew Cooper is a native of Summerville. Grew up in the surrounding areas and a graduate from Summerville High. Working in the automotive industry for many years and now in the Real Estate profession. Discovering while in grade school she had a unique writing ability, She Won an award in 8th grade for the first poem she ever wrote. Over her lifetime she has wrote many poems as gifts for friends and family. When her first daughter was born still. She wrote a poem and had it published. Over the years of overcoming the grief she wrote her book describing her journey. Although it is a bittersweet story, it has much inspiration and is a must read to help anyone to walk through the loss of a loved one. She currently has one daughter that is in college. Nickie and her fiancé enjoy boating, cookouts, family gatherings and volunteering at the local orphanage. Nickies motto in life is : Never let a person or situation decide your destiny. You choose the path you take and you create your story !!

1/22-Friday Best Laid Plan 7pm-9pm Scott Carpenter and Corey Kinsella have played acoustic music together for more than a decade. Recently they felt the urge to start making their own music and open the sound up with electric instruments. Together with Jason Hayes and Matt Beran on bass and drums, they’ve crafted a sweet mix of vocal harmonies over catchy rhythms. The songs are often written from a storyteller’s point of view and always include a catchy hook. Listen closely and you’ll hear influences from The Black Crowes, Stevie Wonder, James Taylor, Foo Fighters, Bob Schneider, and more.
Winter’s Farmers Market 9am-1pm Come out and support so many of the local farmers from our area that provide us with nutritious and delicious food all spring, summer and fall.
Busker 7pm-10pm The award winning Best in Summerville band is back at CCR to delight you with their new songs and help you reminisce with some oldie but goodies.Their music is best described as “inclusive”. The cover songs they play are ever-changing and include Beatles, REM, Goo Goo Dolls, Of Monsters and Men, B-52’s, disco, Madonna, KT Tunstill, Adele, ColdPlay, Tom Petty, etc. If you can’t groove to something that they play, then just stay home!
